The guests were here for the wedding of Mrs. Clark’s mother Mrs. Garnette Talley Cass and stepfather Ray Cass who were united in marriage on Saturday, Sept. 17 in the Chapel at Prestri Homein Washington, D.C. with a reception following.
Mr. and Mrs. Cass spent their honeymoon night in the bridal suite at Gay Street Inn in Washington.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Clark and family entertained with a picnic at their home in Tiger Valley on Sunday for the happy 82 year old couple.
Friends and relatives joining the family for the occasion on Sunday were Bill and Ann Talley of Merritt Island, Florida, Miss Cathi Talley and Andy DeGallo of Arlington, Jim and Marleen Beck, Miss Jamie Beck and Mathew Beck of Glenn Dale, Md.
The newlyweds will be residing in Pierra, South Dakota.
Charles Bootie Bruce of Washington recently visited his daughter f and granddaughter, Linda Eppard and April in Front Royal.
