Chinese Wings
Robert J. Miko of Washington was awarded the Chinese Air Force Wings on Sept. 1 during the Hump Pilots Association’s 49th Annual Reunion in Sacramento, California.
Lt. Col. Miko is a member of the association, made up of over 5,000 air crew members and support personnel who were engaged in the China-Burma-India theater of operation during World War II. They flew supplies to the Chinese armies.
