The Fishback reunion was held Sunday at the Ruritan Clubhouse in Brightwood.
Birthday wishes for this week go out to mother and son, Mrs. Janet Peregory and Joseph whose days are Saturday the 24th and Monday the 26th.
On Saturday the amphitheater at Griffinsburg will be the setting for Windmore Foundation for the Arts Field of Dreams event and will include live bands, juried art show and the 6K run. Also plenty food and activities for children, lasting until 6 p.m. with a starting time of 10 a.m.
Sympathy is extended to Mrs. Maybell Keys and Mr. Charlie Racers and families upon the passing of their mother, Mrs. Ethel Ramey last week.

Michael W. Frazier was a Saturday guest of his aunt, Mrs. Alvin Atkins in Sperryville.
Christy Pulliam is the new owner of the store in Griffinsburg, formerly the Willage Store operated by Sam Lanham. The new owner, whose sign was installed last week has named her store, Christy’s Country Store and she invites the public to come and shop with her.
