Mr. A.L. Swindler of Hanover, Pa., Mr. J.E. Swindler and Mrs. Emma Swindler attend the funeral of Mrs. Ellen Rebecca Hammombs on Feb. 11. Burial was at Fort Lincoln Cemetery. Mrs. Hammombs was the daughter of Sadie Swindler Rowe, formerly of Sperryville.
The Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department is sponsoring a raffle to be drawn on Feb. 25. Tickets are $2 and are available through the Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department membership and local businesses throughout Sperryville.
