Camp Training Manned
The District Winter 4-H Cloverbud Camp will be held March 24-26 at the Northern Virginia 4-H Education Center. The committee is seeking adults and teens for volunteers.
Youth must be 5-8 years of age as of Jan. 1,1995. The cost is $37, and applications are due tot he 4-H Center Feb. 24.
'The date for the 4-H Camp Counselor training is scheduled for March 3-4 at the 4-H Center. Any teen, ages 14-18 as of Jan. 1, 1995, who would like to participate as a teen leader at camp is encouraged to go.
Two training tracks will be offered this year— one for teens and adults who will be first — year counselors and the resource tract for teens and adults who have been counselors two or more years.

Ham and Turkey Dinner
A ham and turkey dinner will be held from 4:30-7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Flint Hill fire department. The menu consists of old ham and turkey, dressing, gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, cole slaw, hot rolls, and assorted homemade desserts. Prices are $8 for adults, $5 for children and children under three each free. Proceeds benefit the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department. For more information call 675-3389.

Auction at Spring Mountain
Make plans now for the second annual Spring Mountain School Auction, to be held Saturday, April 1 in Washington.
ihis year’s theme, “A Grand Trine Time,” indicates April 1 ’s astrological significance as a perfect day to acquire bargains for the years to come. Expected to exceed the high quality and diversity of last year, auction items include antiques, furniture, original art, various sporting lessons, vacations, children’s games, toys and clothing, bird houses, organic gardening package, and much, much more.

Dinner/Ball Fundraiser Set
In honor of the 25th anniversary of the George Washington Carver Alumni Association a dinner/ball fundraiser is planned for Saturday, May 27.
The event will be held at Crystal Gateway Marriott from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. benefiting George Washington Carver’s Memorial Plaque. The allyou-can-cat dinner buffet will be semi-formal and no tickets will be sold at the door. The association is asking for a $40 per person donation.
