Winner of the Eva Smith Memorial from last year’s Fodderstack 10K race. Holly Gangel, will run to defend her title this Saturday, but the mens’ Eva Smith Memorial will go to a new runner this year, as last year’s winner Jason Waters will not be racing.
The Eva Smith Memorial goes to the first male and female Rappahannock County residents who finish the race.
According to race spokesman Margaret Lee, 132 runners (78 men and 54 women) had pre-registered by Monday night.
