three sons, Lyle Foster Jr. of Manassas, Charlie Thomas Foster and David Lee Foster, both of Warrenton; two daughters, Elizabeth Foster Morris of Dyke and Ann Grasso of Saugue, Mass.; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Lee Foster; a daughter, Bessie Sanford and sisters, Annie Wince and Vergie Hahn.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 15 at Amissville Full Gospel Church, with Pastor Paul Markee officiating.
Interment was in Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Geest Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
Eliza Settle
Mrs. Eliza Frances Settle, 95, of Amissville, died on Sunday, April 16 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
A native of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late Brereton and Roberta Settle and the widow of Robert John Settle.
Mrs. Settle was one of the founding members of Amissville Full Gospel Church.
She is survived by three sons, Robert Brewington Settle and Donald Lee Settle, both of Amissville and Richard Humphries Settle of Manassas and three daughters. Ethel S. Compton of Culpeper, Dorothy J. Whorton of Amissville and Marjorie A. Jenkins of Castleton.
Survivors also include a sister, Fannie Ficklin of New Carrollton, Md.; 23 grandchildren; 46 greatgrandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by a son, William Settle and a grandson, Harold M. Compton.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 19 at Geest Funeral Home in Culpeper with Pastor Jerry Fletcher assisted by Rev. Paul Markee.
Interments was in Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper.
Pallbearers were E. Leon Compton, David R. Compton, Stephen Settle, Mark Settle, Gary Whorton,.Marty Whorton, Ronnie Settle and Ricky Settle.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Amissville Full Gospel Church.
