' . John Henry Aylor, 79, of Aylor, ; Madison County, died on Wednesday, •April 12 at his residence.
Son of the late John Benjamin and [Rosa Ann Utz Aylor, he was bom on [May 28, 1915, at Aylor. He was the 'grandson of the late Fielding Henry [Aylor. ' Mr. Aylor was a retired employee of the Virginia Department of Highways, a farmer, and a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church at Aylor.
Survivors include his wife of almost 55 years, the former Ellen V. Taylor; a son, Roy D. Aylor and his wife Lois of Aylor; three brothers, Russell B. Aylor and his wife, June of Alexandria, Calvin R. Aylor and his wife, Irene of Culpeper and Walter J. Aylor and his wife, Elsie of Reva; a sister, Martha E. Tussing and her husband, Darious of Rochelle; three stepgrandchildren, Eugene, Cora Sue and Michael Doyle and a number of nieces and nephews, c Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 15 at Oak Grove United Methodist Church, the Rev. Patricia Stover officiating, assisted by the Rev. Henry D. Aylor. • - Pallbearers were Danny Aylor, Tom Warder, Emmett Aylor, Jr., Randolph Aylor, James Hiram Aylor, Everette Kitchen, William Heishman, Robert Marshall and Curtis Weakley.
