The Amissville United Methodist Women will hold a Spring yard sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 29. There will be a bake sale also. Lunch will be available. For donations call Judy att937-3062 or Irma at 937-4082.
Special thanks to everyone assisting with the egg hunt on Saturday at UMC, which also included songs and stories, as well as a “blessing.”
Rev. Tom Everett, pastor Amissville Baptist Church, wishes to thank the community and the church congregation for providing over 200 small packages of seed and 54 onepound bags to be sent to Mozambique.
Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue will hold an auction on Saturday evening, May 6. You may drop items by the fire house or call 937-4218 or 937-5205 for pickup.
