A graveside services for Colonel Maurice Francis Biddle (USAF, RET.), 78, of Sunnyside Retirement Community was held April 18 at Culpeper National Cemetery in Culpeper.
Father Leo Zonneveld conducted the service, with military honors by Andrews Air Force Base Memorial Affairs Division. ,. A memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Bethel Chapel at Sunnyside. The Rev. Paul O’Gorek will officiate.
Col. Biddle died Monday, April 17 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Uarrisonburg. Col. Biddle was bom in St. Joseph, Mo. on Step. 4, 1916.
He attended elementary school at St, Gregory’s in Marysville, Kansas, and high school at Christian Brothers, Sf; Joseph, Mo. He attended the Universities of Santo Tomas, Manilla, F*vl., University of Hawaii, George Washington University, Washington, D.C. and took degrees as Bachelor of Science in Law, LLB and Juris Doctor of Laws at the University of Minnesota.
