This Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. the Washington Baptist Church will have their annual Spring Event. There will be a Silent Auction with lots of nice items donated by local businesses. Grandma’s Attic will have lots of bargains of new and used items, a bake sale of homemade goodies, also plants, good food and cold drinks for sale. So please don’t miss out on this special event, stop by for your lunch and place a bid on some of these nice items at the Silent Auction. Hope to see you Saturday.

Clark were Mr. and Mrs. Tim Falls, Samantha and Robert of Woodville, Richie Eastham of Warrenton, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Simmons, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown, Amanda and Bobbie Jo. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Beatty and son, Robbie of Point O’Woods, Front Royal were evening visitors.

Easter Sunday visitors dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Jenkins were-Kay Berry and family and Henry Jenkins, all of Berryville, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Jenkins and family, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Miller and family, all of Flint Hill, Mrs. Polly Ann Corbin and family of Orange, Mrs. Kay Cacaths and family of Culpeper, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Whorton, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Compton and family, all of Castleton, Junior Jenkins, M.A. Atkins and Edna Woodard, all local.

We wish a speedy recovery to Whit Hudson who is a patient at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester and also to our Postmaster Mrs. Linda Butler’s mother who is a patient at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.

Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Butler of Blue Ridge Avenue were their children, Phil Butler of Falls Church and Miss Alicia Butler of Vienna. Joining the family on Sunday for Easter dinner were Mrs. Erma Jenkins and Jeff and Jean Butler, Rachel Berta and Michael Berta.

Congratulations to Danny and Hope Huff on the arrival of a baby boy.

Samantha Falls of Woodville and Bobbie Jo Brown spent Thursday night with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark.
