Some customers come in, help themselves to a cup of coffee, and have a seat on the stool near the coffee machine, greeting and talking with other customers and friends as they enter the store.
The conversations range over topics from hunting and fishing, to politics on all levels, to weather and farming.
The store is equipped with a large grill and baskets for frying curly potatoes, French fries and fried shrimp. Business is brisk. The menu is extensive, and it seems that most people who come in order something to eat. They make hamburgers, bacon burgers, crab cakes, pork barbeque, grilled cheese, steak sandwiches, humdingers (battered chicken, both light and dark meat), dinners (fish, shrimp, chicken strip, 3-pieces chicken, or wing dings) with French fries and cole slaw.
