Eddie Sause scored all four goals for the RCHS soccer team in their game against Warren Co. on April 11, winning it 4-1.
This brings their stats to 4-1-1 for -the season.
Coach Uli Maeyet said that two of Eddie’s goals were scored on penalty kicks, and the other two were regular goals. Going into the half, he said, the score was 3-0. Feeling very confident that RCHS would win, Coach Maeyer put in the players off his bench during the last 20 minutes of the game. “We played very solid,” he said. •
Their next game will be played at Quantico this Monday; their next home game is against Quantico on May 3 at 5 p.m.
The RCHS track team has had another week without a meet. Last Wednesday’s meet, which was to be held at Stonewall Jackson, was cancelled due to lightning and thunder. There were scheduled to participate in a meet at Brentsville Wednesday. On Monday they are scheduled to compete at Randolph Macon Academy at 4 p.m.
The softball team picked up one win, one loss, and one narrow escape in the past week, while the baseball team added three defeats.
In games at George Mason last Tuesday, the softball team won 23 to 16 while the baseball team lost 10 to 1. ♦
