Sympathy goes out to the family of Mrs. Eliza Settle, who passed away Sunday at the age of 95.

Birthday wishes are extended to my nephew, Jason Knick of Fort Washington who celebrates his day today, Wednesday.

Mr. J.R. Peyton underwent back surgery at Culpeper Memorial Hospital last Monday and is now recovering at home.

The Salem Garden club met and toured the Growers of Culpeper nurseries on Saturday.

For those of you who have been enjoying the good food at Appetite Repair Shop in Sperryville, might be interested to know that an Appetite Repair Shop will be coming soon at the Meadowbrook Shopping Center in Culpeper. We wish for the Gillies much success at both locations.

Mr. and Mrs. Nick Peneranda and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hicks joined others of The Culpeper Tours group when they traveled to Washington, D.C. on Friday to see the cherry blossoms and had lunch on the “Spirit of Washington.”

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory, Joseph and Jennifer were Thursday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Peregory and Mrs. Lucille Peregory in Front Royal.
