Washington Baptist Church will be holding its Spring Event and silent auction from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The silent auction has items well worth bidding on, donated by local businesses and individuals: One night and breakfast for two at Fairlea Farm Bed & Breakfast; dinner for two at The Inn at Little Washington; Sunday brunch at 4 & 20 Blackbirds in Flint Hill; Pool membership for one at South Wales; Sunday brunch for two at the Bleu Rock Inn; an afternoon of fly fishing lessons with Roger Flinchum; piano lessons with Susan Hunt; a therapeutic massage from Lanise Waites; tennis lessons with Hunt Harris; and gift certificates from The Country Cafe, Settles Grocery, Cabin Fever Books, The Flint Hill Store, Hillsdale Grocery, Aunt Jane’s, Sperryville Barber Shop and Ken Pullen’s Photography.
