The two-lane bypass would cross through property belonging to J. Clifford Miller, and Mr. McNear was representing Mr. Miller in discussions with VDOT.
The new road would be classified as a “minor arterial” with a design speed of 50 miles per hour. It would be limited access, but there would be an intersection with Route 1002, and WSA employees would have access from it to the Sperry ville sewer plant.
