Rappahannock youth, teens and several adults participated in 4-H Junior Camp the week of July 9-13 at the Northern Virginia 4-H Center in Front Royal. Despite the high temperatures the campers enjoyed the sunshine, swimming pool, morning classes and evening recreation and campfire circle.
Accompanying this year’s campers to 4-H Camp were teen leaders Mary Beth Williams, Chris Dennis, Robyn Kaye and Julie Payrte.
The adult leaders who participated were Jennifer Gray who taught the Arts and Crafts class, Phyllis Holloway who taught the Native American Folklore class, Cheryl Taylor who taught the archery class, Helen Smith, Extension Agent, who taught Outdoor Cooking and Extension Agent, Kenner Love, who assisted with Nature Class.
