Approved a request from the Rappahannock Animal Welfare League to build an addition to the shelter adjacent to the existing shelter. The project would be paid for with donated funds, RAWL representative Aleta Werronen said.
• Heard a presentation from School Superintendent David Gangel that by acting as their own general contractor for the elementary school sewer upgrade project, the school hope to complete the project for approximately $1 50,000, leaving about $100,000 from bond funds for other improvements.
• Postponed again making appointments to the Recreational Facilities Board, the Rappahannock-Rapidan Planning District Commission and the Water and Sewer Authority.

Christine Brown of Rappahannock County was one of 16 student'nurses who completed the requirements for going into the clinical phase of the Practical Nursing Program at Carver-Piedmont Tech.
The Capping and Commitment Ceremony was held May 26 in the school auditorium.
