participated in camp and taught a class on citizenship entitled “Red, White and Blue.”
In addition to the campers, teen and adult counselors who attended from Rappahannock County, there were a couple of other familiar Rappahannock County faces at the 4H Center last week. Laura McNear is working at the 4-H Center as a lifeguard this summer and Katherine Krebser is volunteering as an assistant for the 4-H junior camps.
Special Interest Camps
If you have children who .would still like to attend camp this summer, the 4-H Center is offering several interest camps during July and August. They include:
Cloverbud Camp for ages 7 to 8 July 23-25 and July 25-27. This camp is for a half-week and is an introduction to 4-H camp for the younger 4-H Cloverbud age children. We have 10 children from Rappahannock County planning to go to Cloverbud Camp.
