Following the receipt ol the first positive sample result, four samples were collected from the distribution system on May 16, 1995. One of the four tested positive for coliform bacteria but negative for fecal coliform bacteria. Four additional samples were collected from the distribution system on May 23, 1995. All samples tested negative for total coliform bacteria. In addition, five (5) routine samples were collected from the distribution system on -Vine 12, 1995. One of the five routine samples collected in June 1995 tested positive for coliform bacteria. To confirm that coliform bacteria is no longer present in your drinking water, four additional samples were collected on June 18,1995. AH four samples tested negative for total coliform bacteria.
Further failures of this type, however minor, wil be reported to you as required by Federal and State waterworks regulations aimed at increasing your awareness of conditions that exist in public water systems.
