On Friday, Nov. 10, the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community will present a foot-stomping evening of country dancing for all ages with professional fiddler and square dance caller Slim Harrison. The event is set for 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Elementary School.
Mr. Harrison returns to the county by popular demand after a wellreceived 4th of July appearance on the courthouse lawn. His charisma, wit and high energy make him the catalyst which brings the crowd together in the spirit of country fun. While Mr. Harrison fiddles, dances and calls simultaneously, even the most reluctant non-dancers are moved to join him in the jig.
