Local guests included Billy. Barbara and Tiffany Wayland; Nan Reddick; Pearl Dodson’s children, Marshall, Janet, Lou and Joanne, and grandchildren, Dean and Neil; and James, Shelia, Kimberly and Merrick Hoban.

At the reception the bride and groom’s sons, Kevin J. Morse and Frank H. Rath III, gave toasts.

Entertainment was provided by John Jackson and Bill McGuiness, followed by the DJ Connection and dancing.

The summer drought was broken the day of the wedding. The rain kept guests under cover of tents and home at the reception but did not dampen spirits and was considered a blessing for the area.

After the wedding the couple went to Paris, France for honeymoon.

The couple resides in Alexandria and Sperryville and plans to transition to full time residence of in Sperryville.

Ms. Adolfi is a clinical social worker for Fairfax County Schools and the groom is a psychologist and clinical associate professor, University of Maryland School of Medicine.
