American master sculptor, Frederick Hart, will talk about his work on Samuels Public Library, Villa Avenue in Front Royal at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5. *
Mr. Hart, who has been described as American’s greatest living representational artist, lives in nearby Hume.
Last year Mr. Hart completed the James Earl Carter Presidential Statue, the first life-size bronze sculpture to be commissioned to honor the former United States president. 1994 also marked the 10th anniversary of the completion of Hart’s most wellknown public monument, Three Soldiers at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. and the 20th anniversary of the completion of The Creation Sculptures, which grace the entrance to the
