have never personally encouraged any employee to sign anything in support of myself. As far as I known this has been handled by the employees themselves. But I will say that employees that are not loyal to their employer, especially a sheriff since a deputy is an extension of his arm, can have adverse actions for the Sheriff and his organization.
Celebrations come in all styles depending on the occasion. If my officers type of celebration that was chosen last election offended anyone, 1 apologize, but 1 know of no illegal act that was committed. If Mr. Harris feels left out of the last celebration, I will personally see that he is included this time.
In closing, if my opponent’s supporters can only find negative remarks about myself, my wife and staff and not words of support for him, as my supporters have done for myself, maybe they should take another look at who they are voting for on Nov. 7. Thank you for giving me the space to respond.
