The charming storefronts and streets of historic Middleburg will be adorned with festive holiday decorations, providing the perfect backdrop for “Christmas in Middleburg,” Dec. 2.

The holiday celebration begins at 10 a m. when the Middleburg Hunt takes off form the Red Fox Inn. Young and old alike will delight in the color and pageantry' of this unique Hunt Country tradition.

Throughout the day, the streets will be filled with the sights and sounds of the holiday season including festive musical entertainment by the Community Church Choir (11:30 a.fn.), the Avlor Middle School Band (1:30 p.m) and the Kena Highlanders Bagpipe Retreat (2 p.m). Irish folk singer Brian Coughlan will perform from 12 noon to 3 p.m. at the Irish Crystal Company, located at 102 West Washington Street.
