Belated birthday wish to Travis Smith on Oct. 25.
Helen Boldridge recently met two of her sisters, Patty Vann and Doris Graham, in Warrenton and traveled to North Carolina and Georgia where they visited with another sister Peggy and husband Chuck Woods and also another sister Margaret Springer, who is Helen’s twin sister. (Patty and Peggy are also twins.) * Helen is fortunated to have eight sisters. She had a great trip, but got sick a few days later. She was in the hospital last Thursday through Saturday with an ulcer and hiatal hernia.
They also visited another sister in Albany, G. Mary Lee who has been very ill. On the return trip they visited historical places in Savannah and Charleston.
Amissville United Methodist Church will have a spaghetti dinner from 5:30 to 7 p.m. this Saturday, Nov.4. There will also be a cake walk. Cost is adults $5 and children $3.
