Wins, Loses
The Wakefield Country Day School girls’ volleyball team defeated Notre Dame, but lost to Seton recently.
Against Notre Dame the WCDS team came from behind in two games to post IS to 10 wins and never looked back in the third winning 15 to 3.
High scorers were Krsitin Hickson with 22 points and Bridget Hickson with 13 points.
Competition with Seton required five games to settle the match. Seton won the first two games 16 to 14 and 15 to 12, but WCDS bounced back in the third and fourth games, winning 15 to 12 and 15 to 5. In game five WCDs was plagued with pour serving and lost 15 to 6.
