Seizes Marijuana By CINDY MAHAN 4 Rappahannock Newt Staff Writer A couple of marijuana busts have been made in the county within the last two weeks. Sheriff Gary Settle said that six marijuana plants were confiscated from a property on U.S. 211 in Washington which had been discovered during the eradication program, observed from a helicopter. Also during the last week of July, a search warrant was obtained to search a resident on Route 729 in Amissville for possible distribution of narcotics, said Sheriff Settle.
