Company will be having their first anniversary celebration and membership meeting at the Cedar Mountain Campground at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15.
It’s that time again, time for the Car Show to be held at the Salem Volunteer Fire Department this Saturday, Aug. 10 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Door plaques and prizes will be presented. The building is air conditioned and there will be a concession stand and entertainment. As in the past two ears, Tony’s Body Shop is sponsoring the show and other information can be obtained by calling 825-6878. All proceeds benefit the Salem Fire Department.
Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Grigsby and family had as Saturday evening guests Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Peregory and family.
On behalf of the Tharps, our good wishes to out to Tom and Mary Belle Tharp for their wedding anniversary which they celebrated on Sunday. Sorry we were late with our expressions.
