Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Bowling Green Country Club.

Prenuptial festivities included a bridal shower in Darlington, S.C., given by aunts and cousins of the groom. A luncheon/shower was hosted by Mrs. Aney Massie, Mrs. Aney Hoehn and Mrs. Sherry Andrews in the home of Mrs. Massie in Washington, Virginia. A shower/luncheon was hosted by Mrs. Vicki Eastham, Mrs. Louise Ellis and Mrs. Darlene Moore at the home of Mrs. Ellis in Amissville. A brunch was hosted by Mrs. Louise Eastham at Wayside Inn and Bridesmaids Brunch was hosted by Mrs. Denise Eastham at her home in Front Royal.

A rehearsal dinner was given by the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl R. Wallace, Sr. at the Public House in Flint Hill. A brunch was hosted on Sunday, after the wedding, for out of town guests and relatives by Mrs. Lindsay Kielley, Mrs. Linda Adamson, and Kirs. Denise Eastham at the home of Mrs. Edwin Eastham, Jr in Front Royal.

The bride is a graduate of Rappahannock High School, Lord Fairfax Community College and University of South Carolina. She has been teaching school in Fairfax County for the past five years.

The groom graduated from the Berkley College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts and is presently studying for his masters degree in Computer Information Systems and is working at Erol’s Computers in Springfield.

The couple plan a honeymoon vacation in August and are now residing in Arlington.
