The Rappahannock Library’s Summer Reading Program ended Saturday afternoon with a program by Puppets of Pizzazz, prizes and awards for the children who took part, and refreshments for everybody.
Ninety-six children signed up, and read a total of 2,149 books. We feel ' this was an outstanding success!
On ‘ behalf of the children of Rappahannock County and the Library, we wish to thank all those who made this program possible by their contributions and support: The Rappahannock Lions’ Club, the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the community, F & M Bank in Flint Hill, The Rappahannock National Bank, The Country Cafe, Mountainside Market, Frances Thornton, Friends of the Library, and the mothers who made and donated cookies. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
