Judge Charles Foley paid special attention to seat belt violators in General District Court on Tuesday.

When one violator told the judge that he did not wear a seat belt because a friend of his had still gone through a windshield when he was wearing a seat belt that broke. Judge Foley shook his head. He explained that he had buried his surrogate son on Sunday, that he had died on Friday because he did not have a seat belt on.

The following cases were heard in the General District Court on Tuesday, Aug. 6:
