He is also survived by two sisters, Maude Enix of Kingsport, Texas and Monnie Worfe of Clinchport, Tenns; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Adraine Peters White.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Aug. 3 at Clore Funeral home Chapel, with the Rev. Stephanie Bush officiating.
Interment was in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers were Bob Peters, Morris Peters, Frank Peters, Jake White, Mike White, and Jim Mello.
Memorial contributions may be made to Amissville Fire and Rescue; Culpeper Rescue; or Little Fork Fire and Rescue.
Clore Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
