The Administrative Board of the Sperryville United Methodist Church met last Monday night at the home of Julian and Sandra Brown.
Those present were Rev. Merlin Shorb, Pearl and Nelson Nethers, Mrs. Margaret Ann Wayland and Mrs. Polly Aylor.

Mrs. T.M. Johnston was a Saturday dinner and overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Reams, Brad and Morgan in Winchester. Mrs. Johnston and Mrs. Reams saw the musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat” held at the Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre, Shenandoah University oh Saturday evening.
Mrs. Cathy Pullen and Ashleigh of Washington were Sunday evening guests of Mrs. Lisa Dodson and Amber.
Barbara and Frank Roth hosted a cook-out at their hoe. Tranquility on Saturday evening. Their guests were Ronnie, Lisa and Amber Dodson, Mrs. Lee Anna Wharton, Marshall Dodson, Dean Atkins and Andy Baldwin. They also celebrated Lisa’s birthday which was on Sunday, Aug. 4. Belated birthday wishes are extended to Lisa.
