Belle Grove Plantation, the National Trust for Historic Preservation house museum located one mile south of Middletown will be hosting the third annual Belle Grove Wine and Food Festival on its grounds from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 28-29. * The Jeffersonian mansion, built in 1794 for Isaac Hite, Jr., James Madison’s brother-in-law, is located op the Cedar Creek Battlefield. Enjoy fine Virginia wines, gourmet food, Qrafts and entertainment. $9 in advance,.$12 at the gate, ages 6-20 $3.
