Before the primary, Del. Katzen. faces the short session of the General Assembly’that begins in January. He stressed that Rappahannock County should not expect a repeat of the current year’s special appropriation to make up for lost state funds for education because of the county’s higher Local Composite Index.
He warns “that was a one-shot deal.” He said that as he travels around the state he hears of many needs for any additional state revenue.
