Brad Brooks
Brad Everett Brooks, 21, of Amissville died on Aug. 2 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
He was bom on April 14, 1975, in Prince William County.
One of Brad’s greatest love’s was basketball in 1993 he was named the Most Valuable Player at Fauquier High School.
He was the owner and operator of R&B Contractors, a Marbelite Concrete Specialty Company.
He was preceded in death by his father, Stewart Brooks.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Sue and Jeff Fortuna of Amissville; two step-brothers, Pruett Fortuna of Spotsylvania and Edmund Tolson of Culpeper and a step-sister, Darlene Breeden of Culpeper.
Graveside.services were held at' Bright View Cemetery on Sunday, Aug. 4. The Rev. Sam P. Jones officiated.

Barney Richey Jr.
Barney V. Richey, Jr., 65, of Amissville died Sunday, Aug. 4 at his residence.
Mr. Richey was bom Jan. 7, 1931 in Dallas, Texas, a son of the late Barney V. and Sylvia Richey.
Mr. Richey retired after 20 years with Honeywell Federal System Division in McLean. He developed and designed training courses for Computer Systems and Software.
From 1951 to 1960 he worked in Data Processing at Shepherd Air Force Base, Wichita Falls, Texas. He was manager of European Education in Germany from 1981 to 1986. He was owner and manager of Windflower Gallery in Washington.
Survivors include his wife, Tanya Richey; a daughter, April F. Richey Williams of Honolulu, Hawaii; a granddaughter, Amber L. Williams; h son, Roy Allen Richey of Phoenix, Arizpna; two brothers, Michael D. Richey of Bedford, Texas and Patrick Richey of Arlington, Texas.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 9 at The Town Hall in Washington.
