RAPIDTRAN is offering commuter transportation services for residents of Planning District 9 (Fauquier, Culpeper, Rappahannock, Orange and Madison counties) who would like to travel from Culpeper to Warrenton (and designated points in between, e g. the Quarles Truck Stop - Opal for hook-up with Trailways Bus Services) on Saturday mornings. ■ The bus leaves Culpeper from the Lord Culpeper Building at 6:05 A.M. Interested parties should telephone the RAPIDTRAN Dispatcher at least 24 hours in advance on (540) 825-3100 or (540) 825-6494. The round trip fair is $1.00.
Please also include that commuter transportaiton servicess are available on Tuesdays and Fridays for people wo want to travel to Charlottesville for medical care, shopping or other miscellaneous personal reasons. Vehicles bound for Charlottesville depart from Warrenton between 8:30 and 9:00 A M., from the town of Culpeper at 10:00 A M. from Lake of the Woods at 10:30 A M., from the town of Orange at 11:00 A.M, from Gordonsville at 11:15 A.M. Vehicles return from Chariottsville at 3:30 P.M.
Non-Culpeper residents must meet the van in Culpeper. A connecting ride on other RAPIDTRAN vehicles is available and can be arranged with RAPIDTRAN Dispatcher.
Round trip fare from Warrenton is $7.50. The fare from Lake of the Woods, and the towns of Culpeper, Orange, and Gordo nsville is $5.00.
