Mr. Kitchen had been given until this date to clean up the mess. County Administrator J#hn McCarthy visited Mr. Kitchen’s property last week and told Commonwealth’s Attorney Peter Luke that the property was cleaned up to his satisfaction.
Mr. Luke asked the judge to impose a stiff fine for Mr. Kitchen, pointing out that the fine for illegal dumping in the county is $200, and that Mr. Kitchen’s violations were on a much larger scale and he had received numerous warnings from the county to clean it up.
Mr. Kitchen has 120 days to pay the fine and court costs.
