We discussed the auction and food sales with John, deciding the RAA would sell soft drinks and the Ruritans would sell hotdogs, hamburgers and BBQ sandwiches.
The silent auction would be from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. with live auction starting at 3 p.m.
In honor of Mother’s Day, I would like to encourage the readers to read Erma Bombeck’s version of the creation of mothers from hfcr book Motherhood: The Second Oldest Profession.
Due to space limitations we don’t have room for the story, however, we encourage you to read the book. Mother’s Day and Father’s Day stories have always been favorites of mine that I love to share. We wish all the moms a Happy Mother’s Day.
