with her patents to Saturday’s performance of "The Hypochondriac” enjoyed it so much that she came again on Sunday, bringing two more children with her.

There will be many more students at the Theatre on Saturday, May 10, when groups from Rappahannock and Fauquier high schools and Wakefield Country Day School are due to attend a performance of the comedy “Becassine.” The show is in both French and English, and though a knowledge of French actors are acting out a French comic strip makes it particularly appealing for students of that language. Even though this is a "family j show,” very young children also enjoy it because of the colorful characters, costumes, and the fast pace.

Young people are always welcome at the Theatre. The chamber muric series from the Smithsonian, with the accompanying talks about the composers of the music to be * played and the historic instruments used by the musicians, have proved to be of interest to all ages. Theatre tickets for students through high school are always half (rice (and even less for a group of students).

Two shows especially for children are coming to the Theatre in the fall. Ritchie Porter brought “The Mysteiy of the Muffin Man" here two years ago and he returns in September with a new show, “The Magic Box!" Joe Pipik brings “The BackPack Puppets" to perform at the Theatre in November. Tentative times and dates are Sunday after- * noons at 3 pm.. Sept 21 and Nov. 9.
