Donald Turner
Donald Clayton Turner, 65, of Shenandoah River Estates died Thursday, May 1 at his residence.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 5 at Maddox Funeral Home with Dr. Randy Omdorff officiating.
Burial followed in Prospect Hill Cemetery with military honors.
Mr. Turner was bom Jan. 20, 1932, in Pulaski, son of George T. and Elsie Harris Turner.
He was employed by Eldon Farms and was a member of the Riverton United Methodist Church.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and received the Korean Service Medal with three bronze stars, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Republic of Korea Presidential Good Conduct Medal.
Surviving are his wife, Evalina M. Seale Turner; two daughters, Donna Poe and Judith Gail Boyd, both of Front Royal; a son, Donald Clayton Turner, Jr. of Front Royal; a stepdaughter, Debbie Cornell of Front Royal; two brothers, Claude Turner of Stockport, Ohio and Berkley Turner of
