After her graduation from RCHS, Ms. Nichols went on to earn a B.A. ip music from Mary Washington and a master of music and piano performance and pedagogy from Bowling Green State in Ohio.
She has appeared with Bowling Green Symphony Orchestra, the Bowling Green State University Philharmonia, the BGSU AfroCaribbean Percussion Ensemble and the Mary Washington College Symphony Orchestra. She has performed on a wide variety of instruments, including the clarinet, piano, celesta, conga and bata drums and amplified typewriter.
Locally, Ms. Nichols performs with the Front Royal Oratorio Society as a vocalist and rehearsal pianist. Next spring she will appear as a chamber music artist-in-residence at Mary Washington College.
She currently teaches piano at her studio in Washington to students of all ages and levels of ability, and works at the Faith Mountain Company.
This will be Mr. Human’s first trip to Virginia. He and Ms. Nichols were best friends during graduate school, and she often accompanied
