AUCTION Saturday, May 10 at 6:00 p.m. WASHINGTON FIREHALL Washington, Virginia The Rappahannock County Lions are preparing for our annual auction. Once again, we are asking our community and surrounding neighbors for donations suitable for resale at this event. Gift certificates, antique furniture, working tools, collectible glassware, silver & gold jewelry, and other merchandise you may wish to donate to this community-minded organization will be greatly appreciated. Sorry, we cannot accept clothing, mattresses, nonworking appliances, or food for resale. The LIONS CLUB returns the proceeds from this auction back into the community each year to help those who need it the most. One example is the Sight and Hearing Clinic held yearly at local schools where all students are screened for possible problems.
