Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue’s carnival is scheduled for the week of June 23. The parade will be on Thursday, June 26, beginning at 7 p.m. Let’s hope the weather cooperates as well as it did last year.
The Amissville Ruritans met recently and the meeting was called to order by President Fred Naramore at 7:35 p.m. at The Western Sizzlin’ in Warrenton. There were nine member present and one guest, John Ferdetta, President of The RAA.
C. Mills was awarded his perfect attendance pin for 18 years of continuous perfect attendance.
John Ferdetta presented a requests from the Girl Scouts for financial help for their trip to the Richmond Science Museum. The anticipated cost is $187 and there will be a camp-in.
