Many of the possibly stolen items mentioned in last week’s newspaper as being dumped in the Huntly dumpster have been recovered.
Major Rick Mac Welch of the Sheriff’s Office said that three PC’s (personal computers), a boombox, Nintendo game and three VCR’s have been recovered since the items were placed in the dumpster.
On May 8, Louise Eastham of Flint Hill reported that several items had been taken from a former tenant. Missing are two televisions, an iron and a watch. There were no signs of forcible entry; the items were taken on May 3 or May 4.
A caretaker for the .-Sonny Richardson property on Main Street in Washington reported on May 8 that a 10 hp riding mower on the property had been stripped of its parts. The larceny could have taken place anytime
