15 contestants competing at the National Cook-Off in Florida, for the top prize of $25,000.
There were also second and third place winners and two runner-ups. The rules were hard and fast, in their original recipes, contestants were limited to eight ingredients and couldn’t take longer than one hour to prepare.
The Department of Agriculture provided us with the recipes for all five entries. We invite you to give them a try.
