There are exhibits of weapons, period costumes, crafts people, and all manner of things from the era. Demonstrations of spinning, weaving, forging weapons, massage, and readings.
The events are exceptional, especially the joust, which absolutely everyone loved and cheered. In fact, there was a lot of cheering at many of the events. Some events are geared toward children, like the magic show, and some are for adults (and include a mention of parental guidance suggested) such as the Mud Pit.
The costumes are marvelous and many people who attend dress in similar attire, so it is sometimes difficult to tell who is who. Everyone gets into the spirit of the place.
And, then there are the shops. For a bom shopper like myself, they were a true delight and my favorite part of the Faire, next to the tree people.
