Creative Writing Classes Set

Creative writing classes for children, young adults, and adults will be offered by Deni Bechard at the Rappahannock Library for five weeks starting May 26 through June 28. Each class will meet once ai week for one and a half hours. The children’s class will focus on heightening creative awareness through imaginative exercises. The young adult and adult classes will use both exercises and workshops to deal with issues of style, voice, and narrative structure. Mr. Bechard has recently completed a degree in creative writing and comparative literature, and is currently working toward his Master of Fine Arts degree. He has taught grammar and composition for the last three years and has recently finished a novel dealing with the history of Quebec. For information call 675-3901.

Spring Open House Slated
