Washington, Va. and Rappahannock County now have a local CPA office. MacRae Associates, P.C., certified public accountants and consultants, opened in February, but have been settling in to their Washington office located behind the Rappahannock Medical Center, in the same building.
Ellen Berg is the office manager and John “Sandy” MacRae the principal. Mr. MacRae began the business in 1990 at the Fairfax office. He was bom and raised in Springfield.
He had looked into the area here because he felt it needed the service and because of his unique approach to the business. Their motto is “We will come to you.” That’s just what he means.
